The Bush Crime Family

There have been terrible crimes and criminals in United States history - but because the Bush family has passed their misdeeds down through generations, they are unequivocally the most corrupt. Rarely has there been a whole family of underhanded criminals where nefariousness was the rule rather than the exception. It's not as if they have no code of conduct, the facts prove they lie, cheat and steal as their code of conduct.
Prescott Bush was a firm believer in eugenics, (the study of genetic improvement through selecting parents, or racial superiority) which was very common among the influential families at the start of the twentieth century... of course we are all more familiar with the eugenics 'studies' done by the Nazis. William E. Dodd, U.S. Ambassador to Germany in 1937 said, '... I have had plenty of opportunity in my post in Berlin to witness how close some of our American ruling families are to the Nazi Regime.' Which 'ruling families' was he referring to? Well, Old Prescott was convicted by the U.S. government under the Trading With The Enemy Act in 1942 and fined one million dollars. Brown Brothers Harriman's affiliate Union Bank- of which Prescott was director- invested huge sums of money into Thyssen Steel, the backbone of Nazi steel production.
August Thyssen, an affluent German industrialist, lost much of his empire to the harsh Treaty of Versailles after WWI. Vowing this would never happen again, he founded three banks in three countries: August Thyssen Bank in Berlin, Bank voor Handel en Scheepuaart in Rotterdam, Holland, and Union Banking Corp. in New York City. Using money channeled through these three banks, Thyssen financed the rise of the Nazi party and their front-man Adolf Hitler, ruled Nazi steel production, profited from the mining of coal by Jewish slaves, and financed concentration camps including Auschwitz. In 1937, while director of Union Bank, Prescott hired Allen Dulles to 'cloak' his accounts; Allen obviously didn't do that great of a job because in 1942 the U.S. Alien Property Custodian froze Union Bank's accounts. 'Coincidentally,' Allen Dulles was appointed U.S. Intelligence Chief in post-war Germany while he was also the lawyer representing Thyssen's bank in Holland. This ensuing cover-up may have saved Prescott from further penalty stemming from proper investigation. In 1951, Prescott reclaimed Union Bank from the U.S. Alien Property Custodian, and went on to represent Connecticut in the Senate.

本年は、日本の現代史を振り返る際に、極めて重要な意義を持つ年だ。それは７月７日が盧溝橋事件＝中国全面侵略戦争から８０年、１２月は南京大虐殺から８０年であり、また9月が日中国交正常化４５周年となるからだ。
村山首相談話を継承し発展させる会は、来たる7月7日（金）15時30分から衆議院第一議員会館において、シンポジウム「中国全面侵略戦争８０年と東京裁判」を開催いたします。このシンポジウムにおいては、日本における東京裁判研究の第一人者である粟屋憲太郎・立教大学名誉教授から、東京裁判の本質と到達点についての基調講演、また現代日本における政治・軍事史研究の第一人者である山田朗・明治大学教授から日中戦争拡大の歴史分析についての基調講演をいただいたあと、評論家・森田実氏のコーディネイトのもと、田中宏・一橋大学名誉教授、高嶋伸欣・琉球大学名誉教授の諸先生方とともに、世界に通用しない極右の歴史認識に基づいて、安倍政権が憲法改悪・戦争への道を暴走する今日の状況において、中国全面侵略戦争に至った経緯や、極東国際軍事裁判の意義などについて改めて検証することが必要だと考えます。日本国民は、あの侵略戦争を何故食い止めることができなかったのか、については様々な要因がありますが、安倍政権の暴走を阻止しなければ、あの悲劇と惨状が繰り返される危険が極めて高いと危惧されます。徹底した討論を行いたいと考えます。

CIA Agent Confesses On Deathbed: ‘We Blew Up WTC7 On 9 11’

79-year-old retired CIA agent, Malcom Howard, has made a series of astonishing claims since being released from hospital in New Jersey on Friday and told he has weeks to live. Mr. Howard claims he was involved in the “controlled demolition” of World Trade Center 7, the third building that was destroyed on 9/11.
Mr. Howard, who worked for the CIA for 36 years as an operative, claims he was tapped by senior CIA agents to work on the project due to his engineering background, and early career in the demolition business.
Trained as a civil engineer, Mr. Howard became an explosives expert after being headhunted by the CIA in early 1980s. Mr. Howard says has extensive experience in planting explosives in items as small as cigarette lighters and as large as “80 floor buildings.”
The 79-year-old New Jersey native says he worked on the CIA operation they dubbed “New Century” between May 1997 and September 2001, during a time he says the CIA “was still taking orders from the top.” Mr. Howard says he was part of a cell of 4 operatives tasked with ensuring the demolition was successful.
Mr. Howard says the World Trade Center 7 operation is unique among his demolitions, as it is the only demolition that “we had to pretend wasn’t a demolition job”. He claims he had no problem going through with the deception at the time, because “when you are a patriot, you don’t question the motivation of the CIA or the White House. You assume the bigger purpose is for a greater good. They pick good, loyal people like me, and it breaks my heart to hear the shit talk.”

But even he admits that now, looking back, “Something wasn’t right.”
“No good has come from this. This isn’t the America we envisioned.”
Explaining how the building was bought down, Mr. Howard says, “It was a classic controlled demolition with explosives. We used super-fine military grade nanothermite composite materials as explosives. The hard part was getting thousands of pounds of explosives, fuses and ignition mechanisms into the building without causing too much concern. But almost every single office in the Building 7 was rented by the CIA, the Secret Service, or the military, which made it easier.”
Mr. Howard explains that WTC 7 was “loaded with explosives in strategic places” in the month leading up to the day that changed the course of American history. On September 11th, while the North and South towers burned, fuses were ignited in World Trade Center 7, and nanothermite explosions hollowed out the building, destroying the steel structure, removing the reinforcements, and allowing the office fires to tear through the rest of the building, hollowing it out like a shell.
World Trade Center 7 collapsed into its own footprint at 5:20pm, seven hours after the destruction of WTC 1 and 2. The building shocked witnesses by coming down at the speed of freefall, indicating that it encountered zero resistance on the way down.
Mr. Howard and his colleagues had done their job.
“When the building came down, it was such a rush. Everything went exactly to plan. It was so smooth. Everybody was evacuated. Nobody was hurt in WTC 7. We were celebrating. We kept watching replays of the demolition, we had the whiskey and cigars out, and then all of a sudden the strangest thing happened. We all started to worry that it looked a bit too smooth. We watched the tape again and again and again and we started to get paranoid. It looked like a controlled demolition. We thought shit, people are going to question this. And then we heard that people from the street were reporting that they heard the explosions during the afternoon. When we were told that the BBC botched their report and announced to the world that the building collapsed 20 minutes before it actually did… At that point we really thought the gig was up.”

The hard part was getting thousands of pounds of explosives, fuses and ignition mechanisms into the building without causing too much concern. But almost every single office in the Building 7 was rented by the CIA, the Secret Service, or the military, which made it easier.”
Mr. Howard explains that WTC 7 was “loaded with explosives in strategic places” in the month leading up to the day that changed the course of American history. On September 11th, while the North and South towers burned, fuses were ignited in World Trade Center 7, and nanothermite explosions hollowed out the building, destroying the steel structure, removing the reinforcements, and allowing the office fires to tear through the rest of the building, hollowing it out like a shell.
World Trade Center 7 collapsed into its own footprint at 5:20pm, seven hours after the destruction of WTC 1 and 2. The building shocked witnesses by coming down at the speed of freefall, indicating that it encountered zero resistance on the way down.
Mr. Howard and his colleagues had done their job.
“When the building came down, it was such a rush. Everything went exactly to plan. It was so smooth. Everybody was evacuated. Nobody was hurt in WTC 7. We were celebrating. We kept watching replays of the demolition, we had the whiskey and cigars out, and then all of a sudden the strangest thing happened. We all started to worry that it looked a bit too smooth. We watched the tape again and again and again and we started to get paranoid. It looked like a controlled demolition. We thought shit, people are going to question this. And then we heard that people from the street were reporting that they heard the explosions during the afternoon. When we were told that the BBC botched their report and announced to the world that the building collapsed 20 minutes before it actually did… At that point we really thought the gig was up.”

Richard D. Wolff is Professor of Economics Emeritus, University of Massachusetts, Amherst where he taught economics from 1973 to 2008. He is currently a Visiting Professor in the Graduate Program in International Affairs of the New School University in New York City. He wrote Democracy at Work: A Cure for Capitalism and founded www.democracyatwork.info, a non-profit advocacy organization of the same name that promotes democratic workplaces as a key path to a stronger, democratic economic system.

安倍首相の「意向」によって設置が決定したとされる今治市の加計学園の問題をきっかけに、「国家戦略特区」がクローズアップされてきました。
アベノミクスの目玉政策として2013年から登場した国家戦略特区ですが、いったいどのようなもので、各地でどのような計画が進められているのでしょうか？
先の国会で問題となったのは、規制をなくしていく際の意思決定や手続きの不透明・不公正さでした。規制緩和が縁故主義的に行なわれることはもちろん論外です。また「規制」とひとくくりにして「悪」とみなしてしまえば、私たちの暮らしや産業を守るルールが根こそぎ失われ、社会が不安定化することでかえって経済の活性化を阻む要因にもなりかねません。
必要なのは、なくすべき規制と、守るべき規制とを区別し、国民にもオープンな形で議論を進めることではないでしょうか。
私たちは、2014年、国家戦略特区が実施される前の段階で、その影響や懸念を『徹底解剖国家戦略特区』（コモンズ）という本にまとめました。
それから3年が経ち各プロジェクトが実施されている中で、改めて国家戦略特区の内容を検証します。ぜひお越しください。

This film is a 1945 American propaganda documentary directed by Frank Capra and produced by the U.S. War Department. The original intention of the film was to prepare U.S. soldiers for war before deployment in the Pacific, though ultimately it never realized this purpose due to the war's abrupt end soon after the film's completion. The hour-long film sought to educate American soldiers about their adversary's history and society, particularly the course up to the Pacific War, and the totalitarian nature of the Japanese state. It depicted the Japanese as a homogeneous people willing to fight to the end for the Emperor in their quest for world domination. Today, the film is used to show the portrayal of the Japanese people during World War 2.
Despite the fact that planning for the documentary began in 1942, immediately after Pearl Harbor, the film was not completed and released until August 9th 1945, near the end of the war, and the day Nagasaki was bombed. The production was troubled from the very beginning by the inability of the U.S. government to determine what exactly the foreign policy towards Japan should be. The film was revised multiple times for reasons such as seeming too sympathetic by depicting the Japanese as being completely controlled by the Emperor thus fighting the war against their will. Once the film was released, it was only shown for a few weeks, and was discontinued at the end of August 1945 after Japan surrendered. The bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki were a turning point for American foreign policy in the Pacific, and when policy switched from war to negotiation, a movie persuading the American people to continue fighting became undesirable. General MacArthur decided to withhold the film from the troops and he recommended that it not be released to the public.
Know Your Enemy: Japan is considered to be a masterpiece of documentary filmmaking. The film itself was a compilation of footage obtained from authentic newsreels, captured or confiscated Japanese films, scenes from fictional Japanese movies for historical background, and re-enactments supervised by the war department. It was narrated by Walter Huston and Dana Andrews.
HISTORICAL BACKGROUND / CONTEXT
The Pacific War, sometimes called the Asia-Pacific War, was the theater of World War 2 that was fought in the Pacific and East Asia. The Second Sino-Japanese War between the Empire of Japan and the Republic of China had been in progress since 7 July 1937, with hostilities dating back as far as 19 September 1931 with the Japanese invasion of Manchuria. However, it is more widely accepted that the Pacific War itself began on 7/8 December 1941, when Japan invaded Thailand and attacked the British possessions of Malaya, Singapore, and Hong Kong as well as the United States military bases in Hawaii, Wake Island, Guam and the Philippines.
The attack on Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, that severely damaged the American Pacific fleet, came as a profound shock to the American people and led directly to the American entry into World War 2. The following day, December 8, the United States declared war on the Empire of Japan. The lack of any formal warning, particularly while negotiations were still apparently ongoing, led President Franklin D. Roosevelt to proclaim December 7, 1941, "a date which will live in infamy". Because the attack happened without a declaration of war and without explicit warning, the attack on Pearl Harbor was judged by the Tokyo Trials to be a war crime after the end of World War 2.
The war on the Pacific against the Empire of Japan culminated in the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki by the United States Army Air Forces, accompanied by the Soviet invasion of Manchuria on 8 August 1945, resulting in the Japanese announcement of intent to surrender on 15 August 1945. The formal and official surrender of Japan took place aboard the battleship USS Missouri in Tokyo Bay on 2 September 1945.
